As a project's concept takes shape, it is critical to begin exploration of character and experience. Understanding both the implications and the potentials of the developing concept allows each opportunity a chance and establishes qualitative goals and criteria by which to judge further development of the design. In this early sketch of (yet another!) new island, the character of the project and its experience are beginning to be visible. This quick experiential representation of the developing concept sheds light on a multitude of design issues and opportunities.
